Great suggestions! We were just in Miami in February for a half-day after a cruise. We visited two places on the list – Little Havana and Bayside Marketplace. I wish we’d had more time there, because I would love to visit the Vizcaya Museum. Next time!

    1. Derek Hartman

Wow, two great spots though – I’m sure a half day in Miami would be enough inspiration for another visit 🙂

  2. We visit Miami quite regularly. So I was interested in this blog post about romantic things to do. We are often there to warm up from Canada. But good to find some romance too. We are sorry to have missed Little Havana on every visit. But we do love the art scene in Miami. Every visit adds some new pieces for us. I had never heard of the Bizcaya Museum. So will definitely add this palace to our plans.

    1. Derek Hartman

Oh you guys will love Bizcaya, I hope you make it for your next trip! 🙂

What a comprehensive blog post on Miami! I have visited Miami two decades ago and the only place we went to was Seaquarium. A lot must have changed now. The botanical park and South Pointe Park Pier look inviting! I would love to see the New World Symphony perform. I will bookmark your blog for my next visit. 🙂

I’ve been through Miami so many times en route to elsewhere but never actually spent time there. It looks quite a cool city. Now, I need to find someone to be romantic with, lol!

    1. Derek Hartman

HAHA, that can be the tricky part but the cool thing is you can do any of these activities on your own or with travel buddies! 🙂
